Alexander Bangiev

<p>born in the Soviet Union in 1946, is an international master, who came to Germany in 1992 and lives in Hanover. Bangiev has made his name as a chess trainer and author. He has developed the Bangiev method or squares strategy on which he has based a lot of his works. Though it has been controversial, the author nevertheless has a whole host of supporters.</p>
